How we started ...
Canadian Women with Medical Heart Issues FaceBook (FB) Support Community started in 2017 to meet the need for casual support for women who were diagnosed with or at risk of heart disease or heart failure. We now have 1200+ members across Canada.
My name is Jackie Ratz and I have been living with Heart Failure since 2017. I was motivated to start the FB group after I recognized I needed support and was unable to find adequate Canadian supports either in person or on-line. I continue to advocate to increase supports and knowledge for women everywhere in Canada. I hope you find the products inspiring... we have lots of work to do as Heart Disease continues as the #1 killer of women in Canada. |
